Inside Sales Representative
Job Description

This position is based in our Anaheim Hills, CA office.
You will play a key role in our national account acquisition strategy. We are looking for a uniquely talented and capable individual with very high energy and the desire to overachieve.
Your primary objective is to rapidly identify and qualify new business opportunities (NBO’s) from various lead sources and develop / qualify NBO’s to a point where they are ready for transition to our outside sales team. You are not required to close deals, just identify and qualify opportunities, then turn them over to the outside sales team.
You will develop new leads. In addition to inbound leads generated through the company’s various marketing efforts, you will use your creativity and hunting skills to identify new leads. This includes leveraging the company’s existing partners, contact databases, and other resources. You will dig through news stories, competitor information, and various industry "expert forums" to identify prospects. You will participate and in some cases drive marketing activities such as regional webinars, email campaigns, and other outreach programs.
You will engage the regional sales team. Once you have qualified an NBO you will engage the appropriate outside Account Executive (AE) based on industry expertise and geography and transition the opportunity. In the transition you will help the AE understand the details of the opportunity, what you have learned so, and make introductions to the client stakeholders that you have met as necessary.
Measured activities
- Number of New Business Opportunities (NBO’s) identified
- Completeness and accuracy of information captured on NBO
- Net new sales generated from NBO’s
- Outbound calling and emailing activity
- Assistance and support to sales team
Qualifications
Successful candidate’s attributes
- Ability and motivation to sustain very high levels of activities (60+ emails/calls per day)
- Skilled and absolutely tenacious at outbound calling
- Skilled at researching, hunting and digging new opportunities from multiple sources of information
- Excellent English written and verbal skills
- Ability to rapidly assimilate and then clearly articulate value propositions
- Sharp, self-motivated, hard-working, driven individual with 1-5 years inside sales experience, preferably in B2B healthcare software
- Strong knowledge and proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools
This is a contract position that could turn into a full-time position for the appropriate individual who is able to demonstrate results
