Electronic Data Interchange, commonly known as EDI, is the most common technological approach to moving information between two different medical information systems. EDI offers an automated approach, which means that data is transferred quickly and accurately and manual keyboarding is eliminated.
Unlimited Innovations has a decade of experience in EDI, including use of the 835 and 837 formats common to medical information. Our services include:Requirements planning with the client, for example to transfer claim status to providers and payers

Provider and administrative dashboards and patient portals are now easily available to users of General Electric’s Managed Care Application (MCA), thanks to a partnership between GE and Unlimited Innovations, developer of the CERECONS software for healthcare organizations.
GE has developed a sophisticated Application Program Interface (API) that allows other software to “talk” to MCA, providing a bi-directional flow of information into and out of the MCA program. CERECONS has used this API, called Health Care Objects (HCO), to provide MCA clients with the full range of CERECONS functionality, resulting in an end--to-end healthcare management system.
