In a consulting environment meet with client IT and user management in order to gather general requirements pertaining to equity and fixed income trading systems (Charles River Trading System, Longview Trading System). Convert requirements into to detailed specifications from which development will proceed in accordance with client's priorities, budget, and existing systems capabilities. Participate in overall project planning including sequencing and timeframes. From specifications participate in the development, testing, documentation and implementation of required client server applications and affiliated systems architecture to support software utilizing various technologies like Weblogic Integration, Weblogic Portal and programming languages like Java and .net using tools like WebLogic 10.0, MSSQL 2008, SSIS 2008 running under various databases and platforms. Coordinate off shore development from inception to installation and implementation on cross technical platforms. Monitor development to insure implementation is consistent with specifications. Maintain required reports and required documentation and development library and appraise management of status of the projects.
Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering and 1 year of experience. In lieu of, will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering & 5 years of experience, or any reasonable combination of education, training and experience thereof. No less than a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience is acceptable.
