Meet with clients (clients are primarily medical groups or Independent Physician Associations (IPA) to gather requirements and from requirements prepare general and technical specifications pertaining to the development of computer applications for the health care industry. From specifications participate in the analysis and design of required interfaced managed health care systems (e.g. EZCAP, IDX, MEDMC) developed to transmit data electronically in a secure and scaleable manner. Monitor the development of software applications and as required in limited circumstances participate in development. Participate in the enhancement of existing proprietary healthcare software products offerings and utilities including redesign of affiliated systems architecture utilizing various programming languages. Provide advanced technical support to client IT and user management.
Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering and 1 year of experience. In lieu of, will accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering & 5 years of experience, or any reasonable combination of education, training and experience thereof. No less than a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience is acceptable.
